Sources of wisdom and inspiration surround us. The teachings express through many voices. The Sattva Reading Group explores how the teachings shine through history, literature and science, how new contexts deepen our understanding, and how different perspectives expand how we integrate the Sattva Yoga practice into our lives.
Book selections will be inspired by Sattva Yoga teachings and span many genres, including history, literature, science, and ancient texts. Ultimately the selections and schedule will be decided by the consensus of those participating in the group.
To participate in the Sattva Reading Group please email email@example.com. We will email (sparingly) with schedule updates, requests for discussion topics, and instructions about how to join the Skype discussions. Sattva-related topics to consider while you read will be distributed a month before each discussion.
Discussions take place over Skype once per book, approximately once every other month. Alongside these reading discussions, 2013 will bring conversations about movies, documentaries, essays and podcasts. Stay tuned! For Skype dates and times, please see the reading listings below. All are welcome to participate in our discussions, even if you haven’t finished the book or if can only join us occasionally. We would love to hear your voice and learn from your insights.
